Your company controls its postings, applicant use, communications, interviews, and hiring decisions. USIT-JOBS provides the workflow technology.
1. Scope and acceptance
These Employer Terms govern use of USIT-JOBS by companies, recruiters, hiring managers, staffing providers, and their authorized team members (collectively, "Employers"). By registering an employer account, accepting these Terms, inviting a team member, posting a job, reviewing an applicant, or scheduling an interview, you agree to these Employer Terms and the general USIT-JOBS Terms of Use.
2. Authority and company verification
You confirm that you are authorized to represent the company associated with your account. Registration may require a valid company website, a matching company-domain email, and email or phone verification. Company names, logos, banners, locations, leadership details, social links, and other profile information must be accurate and must not impersonate or infringe the rights of another organization.
3. Employer accounts and team access
- Each team member must use an individual account and accurate identity information.
- Account owners must grant only the access needed for each team member's role.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your company and team accounts.
- Access must be removed promptly when a team member no longer represents the company.
- Passwords, OTP codes, tokens, and candidate data must not be shared through insecure channels.
4. Genuine job opportunities
Every job posted through USIT-JOBS must represent a genuine, currently available role that your company or an identified client is authorized to fill. A posting must accurately state the role, location or remote status, responsibilities, qualifications, employment type, application method, and compensation information where required by applicable law.
5. Prohibited job postings
- False, expired, duplicated, misleading, or keyword-stuffed postings.
- Roles requiring applicants to pay a fee, purchase equipment from a designated party, or transfer money.
- Pyramid schemes, unlawful commission arrangements, unrelated advertising, or non-employment solicitations.
- Discriminatory criteria or unlawful restrictions unrelated to the genuine requirements of the role.
- Links or files used for malware, credential theft, financial fraud, or collection of unnecessary sensitive data.
- Use of another company's name, trademarks, or hiring identity without authorization.
6. Employment-law compliance
Employers are solely responsible for compliance with all laws that apply to their job postings and hiring activities, including equal-employment opportunity, anti-discrimination, disability accommodation, wage and hour, pay transparency, work authorization, background screening, automated decision tools, privacy, and record-retention requirements. USIT-JOBS does not provide legal advice or make employment decisions for Employers.
7. Candidate information
Candidate profiles, resumes, contact details, applications, interview responses, and related information may be accessed only for legitimate recruitment connected to an actual role. You must apply reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards and must not sell, publish, scrape, export for unrelated use, or use candidate information for marketing, credit, insurance, housing, or other non-recruitment decisions.
8. Applicant decisions and communications
Employers are responsible for reviewing applicants fairly, maintaining accurate statuses, and ensuring communications are professional and lawful. Shortlisting, rejection, interviewing, or status-management tools are workflow features only. USIT-JOBS does not recommend, select, reject, employ, supervise, or guarantee any candidate.
9. Interviews and Vedameet
Employers may propose interview slots and send invitations through email and in-app notifications. Once a candidate confirms a slot, the Platform may create a Vedameet link, calendar event, and reminders. Employers are responsible for accurate time zones, interviewer availability, lawful interview questions, accommodations, recordings, and any notices or consent required for recording or monitoring an interview.
10. Candidate contact and messaging
Candidate contact information may be used only for the role or closely related roles for which contact is reasonably expected and permitted. Do not send spam, deceptive messages, unrelated promotions, or repeated communications after a candidate opts out. Employers are responsible for compliance with email, telephone, and text-message consent requirements.
11. Employer content
Your company retains ownership of content it submits. You grant USIT-JOBS a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, format, display, distribute, and process company profiles, logos, job postings, and communications only as needed to operate, secure, and promote the requested Platform features. You confirm that your company has all necessary rights to provide this content.
12. Review, removal, and enforcement
USIT-JOBS may review company information and job postings; request verification; limit communications; deactivate jobs; restrict access to candidate data; or suspend or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to address fraud, security risk, legal requirements, user harm, or violations of these Terms. Employers must cooperate with reasonable verification and abuse investigations.
13. Third-party services
Employer features may depend on email, SMS, calendar, storage, identity, company-data, or meeting providers, including Vedameet. Availability and processing by those providers are governed by their own terms. USIT-JOBS is not responsible for outages, changes, or actions of an external provider beyond the Platform's reasonable control.
14. No hiring guarantee
USIT-JOBS does not guarantee job visibility, search placement, applicant quantity or quality, interview attendance, candidate identity, successful hiring, employee performance, or retention. Employers must independently verify candidate qualifications, references, identity, and eligibility using lawful procedures.
15. Responsibility and liability
The Employer is responsible for its postings, company profile, hiring practices, team-user actions, candidate-data handling, interviews, communications, and employment decisions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, USIT-JOBS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, hiring outcomes, candidate conduct, or third-party services. Liability that cannot lawfully be excluded remains unaffected.
16. Changes and contact
These Employer Terms may be updated as Platform features, providers, or legal requirements change. Material updates may be communicated through the Platform or registered company email. Questions, suspected fraud, security concerns, and legal notices should be submitted through the support channel available within USIT-JOBS. Never send passwords or OTP codes in a support request.
